VIGILANCE

Short documentary film, 2019.

Vigilance explores how it feels to be a woman moving through the world at night, and reclaims the horror-like nightscape of Melbourne to open discussions about whether it is worth trading freedom of movement for feelings of safety.

  • “This documentary is so necessary. Thank you for sharing these women's stories in such a thoughtful way.”

    — Audience member, Little Wing Film Festival

  • “Such an important subject to represent, something that resonates with all women. I think the focus on women being unafraid to go about their lives despite the threat is really heartening to see.”

    — Audience member, Little Wing Film Festival

  • “A hard watch, but something we all need to be talking about. Will unfortunately always be relevant.”

    — Audience member, Little Wing Film Festival

  • Maybe you have a creative project to share with the world
